The team at Corredor Afro are the Afro Boricua branch of the African diaspora. Like our brothers and sisters throughout the world, we are the children of more than 15 million Africans forcibly brought force to toil the fields of cotton and sugar throughout the nascent Americas, enslaved without human or civil rights from the 15th to 19th century.

We are the children of those that toiled for centuries to break down the walls of racism, inequity economic disenfranchisement and the negative resulting impact that we continue to challenge to this day. They confronted the challenges of abuse and death to assure a better future for their children.

We are the children that will protect our children against unjust laws!

We are the children that will work for justice in the names of Adolfina Villanueva, George Floyd, Trayvon Martin, and too many others that have been killed unjustlyby the police.

We are the children that demand racial justice!

We are the children that demand the right to live!
